RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Neurobiology - physiology and behavioral research of neural systems; research of structural and functional characteristics of the neurons, principles of neural ansemlies organization and functional information processing systems.

    Current research:
  • ultrastructural organization of cells and neurons;
  • theoretical and experimental study of neural ensemblies organization;
  • theoretical and experimental study a neural mechanisms of cerebellar information processing.
Neuroinformatics:
  • ñomputational modeling of neurons and neural networks;
  • simulation of nonlinear dynamics and self-organization of neural networks;
  • computational modeling of active visual perception and design of biologically motivated machine vision systems;
  • design of neuron-like systems and devices for information processing and control problems.

Psychophysiology - studies of neural foundations of human and animal brain functional states.

Biomedical engineering - software and hardware design for medicine and applied psychology.
